Kevin Kling describes his zodiac sign as “Minnesota with Iowa rising…” having grown up in Osseo,a Minneapolis suburb. He has been awarded numerous arts grants and fellowships including The National Endowment for the Arts, The McKnight Foundation, The Minnesota State Arts Board, The Bush Foundation, The Jerome Foundation and others. Michael Reno Harrell

Michael Reno Harrell is an award winning songwriter, as well as a veteran storyteller. It was just natural that Michael Reno Harrell would become a storyteller, because it just comes so naturally to him. His style has been described as being “like a breakfast of butter and molasses on a warm biscuit… Southern, easy and sweet.” Michael hails from the Southern Appalachian Mountains but his stories reflect events and histories common to all of us. His personal experience based stories combined with the songs that he writes certainly are easy to listen to. He gives his audience space to absorb and to savor… and to laugh! Michael is a master of taking his listeners back to when we all remember life as easy…back to childhood, back to the days of bicycles, fireworks, piano lessons, good dogs and bad school lunches. Michael has received many honors for both his song writing and his storytelling. His credits include being a featured teller at the National Storytelling Festival and Teller In Residence at the International Storytelling Center as well as being invited to share his talents at major festivals across the US and British Isles. Amy Salloway
Actor/writer Amy Salloway has been called “hilariously self-loathing”, “gifted at finding humor where most would see only darkness” and “the voice for all of us who were picked last for kickball”. A lifelong fan of educational and issue-oriented theatre, she spent years playing flora, fauna, astronomical objects and marine life at science museums and in touring school shows before taking the plunge and creating original work around the issues she knows best – body image, loneliness, bullying and ostracism, and the search for self-worth. Her mostly-true solo shows (“Does This Monologue Make Me Look Fat?”, "So Kiss Me Already, Herschel Gertz!”, “Circumference” and “Entwined”) all began their lives in the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and have gone on to tour to Fringes, solo festivals, colleges and theatres in the US, Canada
and beyond, including appearances at OpenStage Theatre of Harrisburg; Victoria BC’s UNO Festival; the Baltimore Theatre Alliance; the Manhattan JCC; and the International Teatronetto Festival of Solo Performance in Jaffa, Israel.
Amy’s been a guest playwright for Interact Center for the Arts, a contributor to MPR’s “In the Loop” and CBC radio’s “Definitely Not The Opera”, and a workshop presenter for Minneapolis Community Ed, Tellabration!, and the Northlands Storytelling Conference. She’s also a member of the Minneapolis narrative ensemble Rockstar Storytellers.  Amy takes great joy in sharing her relentlessly awkward life onstage, and loves encouraging others to find juicy, connective story material in their own everyday experiences.  For more info, visit www.amysalloway.com, OR add yourself to Amy’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/awkwardmomentonstage.
