The new date is JUNE 2. The theme is still SWEET so a sweet child, a hotel suite, sweet revenge, sweet dessert success or mishap, or just ‘sweet’! Prepare a 5 minute story, put your name in the hat, and maybe you will be chosen to tell in front of a very friendly audience. The winner will be able to share their story at the 16th annual La Crosse Storytelling Festival in September. Time and place are the same for the Luna: doors open at 7:00, stories start at 7:10 and the place is Pearl Street Brewery on St. Andrew Street in La Crosse. See you in June……unless we get snow again.

We had perfect weather, fantastic tellers, great musicians, and involved, fun crowds. Our featured tellers, Kevin Kling, Stuart Stotts, and Beth Horner told fun, funny, and moving stories that entertained all ages. Our emcees Diane Breeser, Kay Weeden, Ryan Solburg, and Michael Scott kept things popping. Regional tellers August Ruprecht, Ward Ruprecht, Kay Weeden, Teri Wachuta, and the Friday Night ghost story tellers shared wonderful stories also. Tommy Orrico put together a great group of musicians. And the Luna Story Slam featured six tellers with six well told stories. Of course the food, including our famous roasted pig, was fantastic. FUN, FUN, FUN! A big thank you to all these talented people and to the people who attended. Be sure to put the fest on your 2018 calendar.
